Femme Fest
The Powerpuff girls are at it again. The Powerpuff girls were at it again! I had the pleasure of hosting a workshop alongside my wonderful colleagues, Sarah (pelvic floor physio) and Ashley (Registered Dietitian) at the FemmeFest with Pinke Media and @pinkyghelani on the 15th of June 2024 where we shared on how to optimise one’s training, especially as a female. Women are told all manner of things when it comes to exercise, nutrition and pelvic health and we were there to clear the air- of course backed by the latest scientific evidence.
In July 2024 I had the pleasure of hosting another workshop at the Hearth Summit, organised by Axum, Kenya. The aim of the summit was to create a space for changemakers to reflect and take actionable steps toward healing and resilience. All of these are causes very close to the heart of Kangai Kinetics. There were panel style talks, immersive workshops (I led a movement workshop!), art installations and music and cultural experiences. All with the aim of reflecting and exploring the practices and systems of wellbeing around us. read more
